Ingredients

  • 1 large skillet of corn bread
  • 1 cup onion
  • 2 cups celery
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • About 2 cups bread crumbs or cracker crumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
  • 1 tsp. sage
  • broth from giblets
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup

Method

  1. Saute onion and celery in margarine
  2. Crumble corn bread
  3. Add other ingredients
  4. Add enough broth to make a good consistency to make dressing moist
  5. Grease square or rectangular pyrex
  6. Bake at 375 degrees for approximately 25-30 minutes or until done.
  7. Pecan halves are nice to add to top before baking
