Sauteed tomatoes, sausage, and okra

Ingredients

  • 6 oz. thinly sliced andouille sausage
  • 8 oz. fresh okra, halved lengthwise
  • 2 thinly sliced garlic cloves
  • 1 lb. cherry tomatoes
  • chopped cilantro
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil

Method

  1. Cook andouille sausage, okra, and garlic cloves in olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until the sausage is browned and the okra is almost tender
  2. Add tomatoes and cook until beginning to burst
  3. Sprinkle with chopped cilantro and season with salt and pepper
