Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 5 medium)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup quick or regular oats, uncooked
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Method

  1. In large bowl, cream butter with sugar until fluffy.
  2. Beat in eggs.
  3. Mix flour, soda, salt, and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture alternately with bananas and milk.
  4. Stir in oats and raisins.
  5. Turn into greased loaf pan 9" x 5" x 3".
  6. Bake at 350F for one hour or until loaf tests done.
  7. Cool 10 minutes; turn out of pan and cool completely
