- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup oats
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup chocolate chips
- (1/2 cup chopped walnuts)
Method
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.
- Mix in egg and vanilla.
- In a medium bowl, stir flour, oats, baking soda, and salt together.
- Blend the dry mixture into wet ingredients.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Scoop 2 tbsp balls of dough onto a cookie sheet.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes or until golden.
